About John Haderlein

John Haderlein is an experienced attorney who has been licensed to practice law since 1988.  He is licensed in Illinois, Wisconsin and California.  John received his legal training at DePaul University College of Law in Chicago.    After a few years in private practice, he devoted 13 years to the State of Illinois, where he worked he worked for four governors as an attorney with the Illinois Department of Human Services and the Illinois Finance Authority.    Although John maintained a part-time private practice during his years as a government attorney, he returned to private practice full-time after leaving the State of Illinois in 2004.  Over time, John has concentrated his practice primarily in estate planning & probate, real estate closings, and bankruptcy.   John’s practice also includes Personal Injury & Workers’ Compensation, Corporations & LLC’s, Uncontested Divorces, Estate Planning (including Wills, Living Trusts, Disabled & Elderly Guardianships, Special Needs Trusts, Decedent’s and Minor’s Estates.  A Chicago native, John now lives with his two children in Libertyville, and practices there and in Chicago.  In his free time, John is an avid filmmaker, actor and writer.
